mbk’s solution concepts originate exclusively at the Kisslegg location. mbk focuses on the design and production of cage welding machines for various areas of application that are all distinguished by extreme reliability, durability and robust construction. Thus, mbk offers cage welding machines for the production of reinforcement cages for the manhole and concrete pipe industry. The BSM is available for high production output, the ESM for medium production output and the ISM for limited production output. The entire series satisfies all requirements for high productivity, maximum flexibility, the tightest production tolerances for precise, straight cages and inspires with low maintenance and energy costs. The easy handling and minimal personnel requirement decisively determine efficient day-to-day production.
The RSM/VSM cage welding machines for production of rectangular reinforcement for driven and bored piles, columns, and beams, with or without taper, stand for all the quality features of mbk cage welding machines. They also ensure maximum efficiency, due to functions such as configuration of the reinforcement cage and welding data using stored programs, maximum variability in the wire gradient and ergonomic handling of the wire and cage side.
The LSM cage welding machine for the manufacture of round and rectangular reinforcement for driven and bored piles, columns and beams essentially matches the performance features of the RSM/VSM. However, the LSM is primarily used for the manufacture of products with larger dimensions. This machine also functions without the use of inert gas and electrodes. Extremely high welding performance and outstanding weld quality is achieved through electronic weld point activation and fast changeover by means of quick adjustment ensures maximum flexibility.
The SSM cage welding machine was developed for production of round and rectangular reinforcement for driven and bored piles, columns and beams (inert gas process). The inert gas welding procedures stands for maximum welding point strength, even with large wire diameters. The SSM is optionally available with or without welding robots. The straightening unit for winding wire can be installed using a spindle and handwheel or optionally with motor drive. The robust, hydraulically-driven cage support and the adjustment for reinforcement cage and welding data make easy handling possible.
mbk also has mat welding machines for diverse requirements in the product range. There is a mat welding machine for the production of small format and strip mats, the MSM-S. The MSM-B is a mat welding machine for the production of reinforcement mats for flat elements, cages for beams or columns, stairs, frame profiles, L, and U- precast components, as well as boxes and rectangular pipes. Both mat welding machines allow adjustment of mats and welding data using stored programs and programming using touch panel and IPC/PLC control. Short changeover times, low service and maintenance costs and the presence of exclusively electric or pneumatic components (no hydraulics) complete the overall positive impression.
The MSM-M mat welding machine is a completely flexible plant for fully automatic production of CAD-based reinforcement mats for the manufacture of precast concrete components. Due to the compact design, it requires little space. The modular plant concept enables customer-specific solutions and subsequent system expansions. Furthermore, it can be expanded with a plant for bending, buffering and handling mats. The connection to a Unitechnik interface is standard, as is a LAN-/WLAN connection for troubleshooting, updates and production planning.
DRA – The designation stands for the plant for straightening and cutting reinforcement wire from the wire coil. These features are typical for mbk DRAs:

mbk also has the right machine in the product range for production of 2-hip lattice girders – the GTM lattice girder welding machine. Its advantage lies in the manual changeover of lattice girder heights and protrusions and the manual removal of lattice girders from the lattice girders storage. The GTM components are also electric or pneumatic (no hydraulics).
The other mbk lattice girder welding machine – the TSM – is used in the production of single-hip lattice girders. It makes welding of identical or different wire diameters possible. Robustly built, with low service costs and an easily operated machine concept, it competes successfully in the market.

The focus is on cost-effectiveness in every development from the mbk company. So strict attention is paid to avoiding additional costs for the customer or at least minimising them in case of need.
