An event of superlatives – mbk achieves great successes at bauma
As the world’s largest trade fair closes its doors a whole industry has undergone change. Highly innovative and groundbreaking developments have defined completely new standards in the construction industry. As a global player with considerable innovative strength mbk Maschinenbau GmbH based in Kisslegg in the south east of Baden-Württemberg, showcased its future-oriented developments. The main emphasis was on automation and individualisation.
bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and construction equipment broke all records this year; achieving the best result in its 65-year history. Over an area of 614,000 square metres, more than 3,700 exhibitors from around 60 countries presented their innovations to more than 620,000 visitors. mbk, one of the leading manufacturers of welding machines and systems for reinforcement solutions in the construction and precast concrete industry, is not only renowned for the construction of standard and special machines and providing sophisticated services and professional after-sales service, but above all as a system solution partner with a particularly high degree of individualisation. The implementation of customer-specific requirements plays an important role in mbk’s day-to-day business.
A central topic was also automation solutions, which were explained in detail to a large specialist audience at the mbk stand. In an impressive presentation mbk demonstrated sustainable ways to have a positive influence on production processes. These future-oriented developments enable mbk to provide companies with the opportunity to expand their competitive advantages and increase their market share.
The fully automatic mesh welding machine MSM-M is one of the many modern machine concepts, this is used to produce CAD-based reinforcement meshes for the production of precast concrete elements such as solid walls, sandwich walls, double walls and element slabs. Recesses for window and door openings are even possible with this fully automatic production process.
The MSM-M system impressed an extensive audience with its compact design and the outstanding degree of individualisation meeting specific customer requirements, made possible by the modular design of the system. The unproblematic system expansions, also as a retrofit, and the extensive range of accessories are practical complements to the automation.
Targeted automation solutions were also presented for the cage welding machines type BSM and BSM-ROR. These solutions ranged from simple automation accessories to fully automatic production lines with buffer solutions and transfer of the reinforcement to the pipe machine.
Visitors to the trade fair were amazed by the broad product portfolio of the Kisslegg-based company: From mesh welding machines for different profile requirements to truss welding machines, single and multiple wire straightening and cutting systems, cage welding machines for different applications and modern automation solutions, mbk also impressed with its customer-oriented after-sales service and intelligent retrofit ideas. The extensive range of accessories completes the product portfolio.
Besides their obvious competence and innovative strength, the mbk philosophy also made a significant impression on the visitors. In all new developments mbk takes into account the situation of the individual customer and focuses on the economic efficiency. This enables additional costs to be avoided from the outset or, if absolutely unavoidable, kept as low as possible. No additional costs are incurred for structural or construction actions because a foundation is not required for almost all ranges.
mbk represent competence, transparency, empathy and unconditional customer orientation. These values are becoming more and more important in our fast-moving times, as was clearly demonstrated at the mbk stand at this bauma. The number of visitors and the genuine interest were extremely high, which was reflected in the number of requests for quotations. A clear indication that mbk is on the right track. A track on which everyone is aware that each and every customer – is a person with very individual ideas.
